MANILA, PHILIPPINES, AUGUST 11, 2022 — Hollywood-based international film festival, HollyShorts Film Festival will be showcasing seven (7) Filipino short films on August 11-20, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. The Philippines is this year’s Country Spotlight at the 18th edition of the Academy-qualifying festival of global short films.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, AUGUST 4, 2022 — In celebration of International Youth Day, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and the Department of Health (DOH) will be screening Child’s Play by Julienne Ilagan, a short film promoting awareness on reproductive health and teenage pregnancy. The film will be posted on the official Facebook pages of DOH and Healthy Pilipinas on August 12, 2022 at 12:00 noon for unlimited public access, and will also be available through the FDCP Channel for free for the next 3 years starting August 26, 2022 at 6:00 pm.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, JULY 25, 2022 — New Chairman and CEO of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) Tirso S. Cruz III has officially assumed his position as the head of the country's national film agency during his visit to the FDCP office in Manila last July 21.
